Photography Business Mentorships With Wendy Z Photography

Photography Mentorship I have so many calls lately about what I did when I started my photography business or various other aspects of photography.   This has led me to pursue offering mentorships to those starting their own photography business.  If you can’t make it to a Clickin It With Confidence Workshop, or you are wanting to know more about the Business Side of Photography, maybe a mentorship is right up your alley!

I am an open-book.  I will share with you what did and didn’t work when starting my business.  We can talk about camera equipment, lens, workflow, post-processing, vendors, branding, marketing, online resources, posing, etc.  You can even come on a shoot with me if that will help get an idea of how I handle them and watch my workflow afterward.   I do not claim to be an “expert” photographer, I just know what works for me and I would love to share that with you.  I would have paid top $ to be able to talk to another established photographer about 2 months into my venture.  I spent endless hours figuring out everything and I would be happy to give you a jump start with the knowledge of what worked for me.  I will get more into detail here in the upcoming weeks.

If you want, I can critique your work for you.  I can give you assignments that helped me grow as a photographer.  The possiblities of discussion topics are endless.

“You could google yourself silly, stay up late at night, ask a dozen different people, try and fail another dozen times, and months later still not have what you can gain from just a few hours with Wendy.  She’s incredibly willing to offer up what worked and did not work for her, she’s straighforward and even more so, she’s highly encouraging.  It’s been over a year since I had the pleasure of being under her wings and I still to this day hear her as the little voice in my head and I often find myself thinking, ‘what would Wendy do?’  🙂   She’s the real deal folks, bring a big pad of paper and soak it in, time with her is more than worth it!”

“Wendy is very easy to work with and was so encouraging. She was open to answer any and all questions in a way that made sense to me when I was just starting out. I felt like I got her knowledge and expertise in a nutshell, which is something that would have taken a long time had I tried to learn on my own. Thanks Wendy for giving me the tools and push that I needed to start my own business. “

“Wendy, thank you so much for taking time to work with me, you are so fun and easy going and I had a blast. I can not tell you how much I learned in the few hours we spent together, I was able to learn more with you than I did in my first year of College (getting a B.A. in Photography). My confidence has soared and my photos are looking better than ever! Not to mention, I don’t feel overwhelmed by the paper work end of the business, after we talked about everything. You gave me clear, quick, and easy, steps to jumpstart my business, and I am more grateful than you will ever know. Thanks Again!”

“Many thanks to Wendy for the superb mentoring sessions!  Her detailed recommendations and insight into the “tricks of the trade” were invaluable in helping me get my photography business off the ground, something that was looking impossible to me before I found Wendy.  I followed her advice and her suggestions — within less than two weeks, I had a professional-looking website and blog up and running. While many photographers keep all of their ideas and workflow processes close to their chests, Wendy’s sharing attitude and knowledge have helped me reach my goals in photography far sooner than I thought possible.  I only wish I had found her a few weeks before her move to Hawaii instead of a few days so I could have accompanied her on a photo shoot…..  Thanks again Wendy!”

I do know that our time is very precious and getting away for a weekend or even whole day workshop is difficult for most of us.  This is why I will be offering hourly mentorship.  $100/hour.  I require at least a 2 hour time slot the first time and then we can go from there scheduling more, dependent on your needs.  We can do this in person, over the phone or via Skype.  If you do go on a shoot with me, it would be a 2 hr. minimum, with an additional hour or two to see my workflow/post-processing after.

To get started, you will submit a payment and an online mentoring agreement.

Call me when you are ready to “take the leap”.  509-475-8081
