Oahu Hawaii Family Photographer | The Greatest Gift!

It was a fantastic morning when I met up with one of my friends and her extended family for a photo shoot. What a wonderful idea to gift a photo session to your mom and dad while you are all together for a holiday.  Just perfect!

It all started with these two lovely people!

They created these beautiful daughters…

I know her parents are so proud of their daughters!  It was so special to be around them all!

Beautiful!!! The colors are so vibrant!!

Branding and Packaging The Blew Me Away!

I was thrilled to get my Life Planner in the mail from ErinCondren.com, but I had no idea how exciting it would be just to open it.  Erin has done in “RIGHT” in the Branding world.  She “had me” at the box! (Besides the mess the Post Office did to it)

When I opened the box, literally it was all still arranged like this.  Completely perfect.  In that blue envelope were a bunch of those adorable “a little something from Wendy” stickers…A lovely something extra.   Look at the lady gripping her box.  That is exactly what I wanted to do.

I super loved that one of her designs for the Life Planner covers were in my branding colors!  But you can also get one of your family images put on the cover…BONUS!

And there is no way that you can go wrong with tabs!

I highly recommend this Life Planner if you are still one of those people that actually have to see a calendar every morning to keep your life organized.  Nicely Done Erin!  You can see her products here or on ErinCondren.com’s FB page!

I have never heard of her. That packaging is to die for. And my life organization could use some help so heading over to check out her site. Thanks for the lead.

P.S. I still think about your smile in AZ. It brings a smile to my face. You are AWESOME.

loved your blog post! and your cover is too cute! i love the colors : ) i just got my life planner on tuesday & i love it!
one thing that you might want to do, for the month tabs – I read that they start curling from wear and tear… if you buy self-adhesive index tabs (the 2″ inch ones) and cut them to size, you can “save” your tabs I did mine the night I got my LP : )

Katy + Tim | Honolulu Hawaii Wedding Photographer

Katy and Tim have waited 3 1/2 years to have a “real” wedding with the white dress, flowers and a handsome groom waiting for her at the end of an aisle.  Their love endured those years through military deployments and moves.  And finally, this very special day in January they were able to proclaim their love in front of an intimate group of family and friends.  This is the perfect example of what our men and women in the military sacrifice every day for their country!

Katy and Tim also had another blessing waiting right around the corner for them.  The very next morning after the wedding she did in fact, go into labor and the following day, their first daughter was born.  I do have to say…they had a very special week!  Congratulations Katy and Tim!  Thank you so much for asking me to capture your special day for you!

Their ceremony was short and sweet…

I can never resist a bridesmaid with tears:)

Katy, you are completely beautiful!

We snuck out before the Luau and took a few sunset pictures to finish out the evening!  You two are just adorable!

Super Fun Kiddos! | Oahu Hawaii Children’s Photographer

It was such a blast chasing these absolutely adorable kiddos around Lanikai Beach during Holiday Mini-Session time!  As I tell all families that contact me with children between the ages of 15 months and 2 1/2 years…they are the hardest to photography, especially with others.  They get up faster than you sit them down and they turn very quickly away from the big, black, scary thing in front of the photographer’s face.  I also tell the parents that this might be the year when you have to do separate images for your children on the Christmas Card:)

Well after a lot of patience and hard work…we actually got a few images with all three in.

This one is one of my favorite images of the mini-session season.  Even though not all three kids are in focus, I am in love with the color, the emotion and the movement.  And look at that little guy in the back, don’t you just want to squeeze him:)

We also got this….

Just before this….Makes me giggle thinking about it!

Aren’t they all just full of sugar!

Thank you for choosing me to capture your children this holiday season!
